When is it Time to let my Pet Go?

A lot of the animal communications I do are with ageing pets and their guardians wanting to know “Is it time”? If your pet is slowing down, or they have have recently become ill, then I encourage you to talk to your vet about options. These days you can make a decision based on what is the best for your pet, such as home euthanasia or are you happy to go to the vets for those final moments. I have had vets come to my house and it was peaceful and my beautiful boy Fergie was able to be surrounded by Ajax and Lil Jess in his final moments.

Ask about pet cremation, which facilities are close by and what happens after your pet passes. By asking as many questions as you need to know about the process and solution might work best for you and your pet, you’ll be able to make better decisions when the time comes.

When you book in an appointment with me, I’ll be able to share with your pet what might happen, ask them if this is what they would like. Ask if they need assistance and any other questions you might have. Share messages to them and from them so everyone understands what is happening and know they are making the right decisions for all involved.

End of life is not something we want to think about, however if you learn more about what the vet can offer, then you can be prepared when the time is near.

Reach out to me if you want to chat about end of life or book an animal communication session and find out what your pet wants.
