Last night was nothing short of magical as we officially launched my book, Pet Loss & Grief – From Loss to Love: A Healing Journey Through Pet Grief. The atmosphere was filled with love, connection, and a shared understanding of the profound bond we have with our pets – both those still by our side and those now in spirit.

Over 50 beautiful souls came together at Peticular (the Coolest Pet Store in Town) in Peregian Beach to celebrate this milestone. The evening was a heartwarming mix of tears, laughter, and moments of quiet reflection. Guests brought photos of their pets in spirit, creating an unspoken tapestry of stories and memories that filled the space with warmth.
I shared the journey of writing this book, my personal story of losing my soul dog Ajax, and how his presence continues to guide my work. There was a tangible sense of connection in the air – not just between people, but between people and their beloved pets who remain close in heart, always.
One of the most touching moments was hearing from those who have already started reading the book. Many expressed how it has brought them comfort and hope in the midst of their grief. As one reader beautifully said:

I’m so grateful to everyone who attended, to Peticular for hosting us in their beautiful courtyard, and to the many pets in spirit who I know were there, wagging their tails and purring from the other side of the rainbow bridge.
